Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Tuesday, May 24, 2022 — Following more than two years without live events, Market Malaysia independent distributors, known as UnFranchise® Owners (UFOs), came out by the thousands to attend the Market Malaysia 2022 Annual Convention (#MALAYAC2022) from Friday, May 20, through Sunday, May 22, at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The event kicked off with the UnFranchise Business Presentation (UBP), hosted by National Supervising Coordinator Christopher Goh Yee Hui and Senior Master Coordinator Jesline Koay, both providing a detailed understanding of the UnFranchise Business. The next two days were jam-packed with inspiring and empowering presentations to help equip attendees with a variety of tools, techniques and training needed to begin or continue to build an UnFranchise Business with the opportunity of providing a supplemental income.
Market Malaysia General Manager Cherie Foong received a huge round of applause when she took the stage to welcome the thousands of attendees, sharing her excitement to be able to host an in-person event after more than two years. Also speaking at #MALAYAC2022, Executive Vice President of Asia Pacific Kevin Buckman took the stage and discussed the difference between seeking a leader and being a leader and the importance of attending events on a regular basis, saying “buying a ticket is your declaration to the business.” Buckman also emphasized that each UFO in attendance can be a business leader but it starts with the individual.
